The 6th Annual Salinas Valley Agricultural Technology Summit is hosted by the Agricultural Business and Technology Institute at Hartnell College in collaboration with the Monterey Bay Chapter of the California Association of Pest Control Advisers (CAPCA). The theme for this year’s event is “Tomorrow’s Technology You Can Use Today.” The event attracts over 1,000+ attendees. Attendees will discover the latest trends in Ag Technology through speaker and panel presentations on the topics of crop protection, the future of farming, automation, harvest technology, innovation, worker safety and regulations, access to exhibitor, demonstrations and more.
Morning keynote address will be given by Glenda Humiston, VP of Agriculture and Natural Resources from the University of California with afternoon keynote addresses will be given by Dr. Bob Whitaker, Chief Science and Technology Officer and Vonnie Estes, VP of Technology, both of PMA. Presentations will include six education sessions and three unique tracks.
Panel presentations will include three unique tracks including:
- Ag Tech Production
- Ag Tech Business
- CAPCA Continuing Education (up to 5 hours of credit approved by attending this session(s) in their entirety.)
Attendees will also enjoy breakfast and lunch.
